"I thought it was my job to give all the boys their first kiss." Jessica Marie Alba was born on April 28th, 1981, in Pomona, California. Her family moved several times before finally settling down in Southern California. Jessica always wanted to be an actress. Her first movie role came in 1994 ("Camp Nowhere"). Then she appeared in smaller projects on the small screen, with commercials for Nintendo and J.C. Penney. The recurring role was in movie "The Secret World of Alex Mack" the same year. Jessica, a PADI-certified scuba diver, got another role as Maya in the 1995 series "Flipper". Next roles were in movies/episodes like "Venus Rising", "Too Soon for Jeff", "Chicago Hope", "Beverly Hills, 90210", "Brooklyn South", "The Love Boat: The Next Wave", "P.U.N.K.S.", "Never Been Kissed"... Jessica's exotic looks (which comes from her Danish, French and Mexican heritage) helped her to get a main role in James Cameron television series, "Dark Angel". After a long engagement to her co-star Michael Weatherly (Logan in "Dark Angel") from 2001 to 2003, Alba was spotted with Mark Wahlberg.
