Fernanda Tavares was born on September 22nd, 1980, in Brazil (just like Adriana Lima and Gisele Bündchen). She appeared in several local shows, even before her teenage years. At 14 she started modelling career in Brazilian city of Sao Paulo. By the age of 18 she was already appearing on the covers of fashion magazines, like Vogue Paris and many others.

She signed up with the Marilyn Modeling Agency. Since then she has been walking down catwalks for the biggest designers, like Chanel, Gianni Versace, Blumarine, Christian Lacroix, Salvatore Ferragamo, John Galliano... She appeared also in commercials, for Gap Jeans and others.
