Britney Jean Spears was born on 2nd of December 1981 in Kentwood, Louisiana, USA. She became superstar already in her late teens and has sold 55 millions copies of her albums since. Already as a child, she was a performer! In school, church and local TV stations. At age of 8 she auditioned for Mickey Mouse Club. Not accepted as "too young", but helped to find an agent. She performed in "off-Broadway" shows since then and at 11 finally joined the Mickey Mouse Club. After that she auditioned for teen girl group, but signed up a contract as a solo singer instead. All the rest is pop history. Her debut album "Baby One More Time" was out in 1999 and instantly made Britney N.1 in pop world. She recorded five albums, several DVDs and starred in movie "Crossroads". In September 2005 she gave birth to her first child, son Sean Preston. A year later she welcomed her second son, Jayden James. She even has her own perfume (Curious) and three dogs (Lacy Loo, Bit Bit, Lucky). |
