Anouk Teeuwe was born on 8th of April 1975 in Hague, Netherlands. Anouk made up her own songs already as a kid. Her voice is suitable to many styles of music, but she prefers rock and pop songs. Not exactly excellent schoolgirl, she started her own music band instead.

Anouk´s astounding debut album, "Together Alone", sold over 1 million copies worldwide, and is best known by songs "Mood Indigo", "Nobody´s Wife" and "It´s So Hard".

In 2002 she became mother for the first time, giving birth to her son Benjahmin Kingsley. Year after that her second son Elijah Jeremiah was born. And in June 2005 she welcomed daughter Phoenix Ray.

The latest album "Who´s Your Momma" (released in 2007) adds yet a new chapter to an already impressive career.
