Alessandra Ambrosio was born on the 11th of April, 1981, in Erexim (Brazil). She is one of many supermodels, coming from this country. She participated in Elite's Look of the Year contest (1996) and signed contract with Elite Model Management. Soon she started with advertising campaigns for label Guess? and the career of supermodel became inevitable.

She appeared on the covers of magazines like Capricho, Desfile, Elle (Brazil), Wallpaper and others. Of course she has also walked the catwalks: for the designers like Christian Lacroix, Kenzo, Christian Dior, Nicole Miller...
